Anna Sioula joins KAR AI to organise our technical team

KAR AI keeps growing, and so does the work behind it. We’re happy to welcome Anna Sioula to the team as the organiser of our technical team.

Who she is

Anna is a Digital Technology Expert at Coca-Cola HBC in Marousi, where she has worked since December 2023. Before that she was a Senior Technical Support Specialist at Estarta Solutions and a first-level Mainframe Operator at IBM in Brno, Czechia.

She spent over three years at AT&T in Brno. She started as a Tier 1 Network Analyst helping business customers with internet and phone issues. She then moved into teleconferencing support and kept moving up, first to trainer and then to shift leader, and was eventually hired directly as an AT&T employee. Along the way she trained newcomers, monitored tickets, covered the floor when team leaders weren’t there and worked closely with management to coordinate support for customers.

She also spent almost two years in an accounting office, handling suppliers, purchasing, invoicing and bank transactions and helping with financial audits. That gives her a practical view of how a business actually runs.

What she’ll do at KAR AI

KAR AI gives drivers a personalised shortlist of cars in about two minutes. It’s based on real-time data and key parameters, and it’s independent from ads, brands and money. Behind that experience there’s a website, an Android app on the way, a platform with two APIs and a growing number of people building it.

Anna will organise the technical team. She’ll coordinate the people working on the platform, keep priorities clear and help make sure what we ship is reliable. Training people, leading shifts and keeping complex support operations running is exactly the kind of experience a fast-growing team needs.
